The final Catch-Up Club event for 2019 will be a celebration of the four Councils coming together with Arts West to deliver this region-wide program for artists. Each participating Council will present aspects of their 2020 program of activities with a focus on opportunities for local artists. Light refreshments will be served.
Across the Councils there are loads of creative program opportunities. For artists that work in the public realm there will be Street Art for everyone including some specifically for youth and upcoming Public Art opportunities. If the gallery setting is more your space, you can hear about the exhibition opportunities that are available. If you need some time and space to dedicate to your practice, there are a range of opportunities including Artist in Residence and studio programs, a Creative Development program and even a First Nations Creative Projects Initiative. Or if you are simply looking to upskill and experience art, there are also workshops and public programs. So basically loads of creative program opportunities.
The afternoon will be a networking extravaganza that no western suburbs artist should miss!
