Fiona Wilde

Fiona Wilde is an experienced musician, guitarist and songwriter.    She has spent many years playing in bands, both cover and original. Fiona enjoys playing live music and has been a part of many festivals and gigs including “Chill Out”, Yarraville Club NYE supporting Chantoozies, Breast Cancer Network Functions, Crown Casino and St. Kilda Festival.

Fiona was co-organiser of “Play Like A Girl” – supporting women in music. “Play like a Girl” created a nurturing environment for women to develop confidence in their musical ability and performance, which was facilitated and enhanced through her own professional experience as a guitarist and musician.

Fiona has taught guitar in schools and privately as well. She is  passionate about music and enjoys playing; teaching and performing live on stage. Rock music is her favourite genre and she plays a Gibson Les Paul Guitar through a Marshall Amplifier.    

Fiona currently plays in an all girl 80s cover band “Party Girls” and original rock/pop group “The Electrique Birds”. She is also working on a hard rock original project – Snowhite and offers Guitar lessons in the west (beginners to intermediate).
